Surprisingly, the band that opened Tyler Hilton’s London show, demonstrated huge enthusiasm and talent during their acoustic set, despite being together for only a few months. The band, “Paighton”, best described as a country/rock band with a twist, consists of (Vocalist and guitarist) Joe Atkinson, (Vocalist and Keyboardist) Andrew Thomas, (Drums) Peter Coppin and (Bass) Dave Stephens.
A crowd filled not with annoying screaming fan girls, but a mature, fun and lively crowd of more than 700 people, quickly admired Paighton’s performance and humor and became their new fans in matters of minutes. Performing songs from their new E.P. “CHAPTER II: Drive” like “London” and “Drive: A little piece of me”, successfully hit it off with the viewers.
Following the fun night of acoustic, the one and only, One Tree Hill star, Tyler Hilton too the stage accompanied by the crowds excited cheers. The love Tyler had for the UK fans taking time to come down to his shows was extremely evident throughout his performance and the interactions with the crowd.
A special moment of the night had to be when Tyler invited an adoring young fan on stage to sing with him. The joy of the fan was quite the spectacle but once singing, her confidence suddenly lit up and shined through. It was Definitely a memorable night for her, the musicians and the fans!
