After a long wait, to the delight of British fans, Infinite brought their world tour, One Great Step (OGS) to London. From all the way in South Korea, Infinite consisting of seven group members Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L, and Sungjong, have embarked on their first ever world tour with fans all over Europe attending their London show on Tuesday. The KPOP group (Korean Pop) Infinite are best described as of a Pop, R&B and Dance genre. Although their lyrics are mostly in Korean (apart from some English phrases and choruses), you cannot deny the fact that Infinite’s music is extremely catchy and makes you want to dance along! Not forgetting that the band’s looks, fashion, dance skills and vocals are also impeccable. Even though for the beginning of the show the young lads experienced some technical problems regarding their microphones, causing some of the members vocals not being loud enough and drowning out the sound, making their songs sound like the instrumental versions, Infinite opened with their song “Destiny” and closed the show with the song “With…” with the same bang and professionalism, staying energetic and enthusiastic throughout the night. Infinite’s fans, referred to as the “Inspirits” were nearly half made up of Europeans, proving that KPOP isn’t just for Korean understanding individuals and not a just a viral hit like PSY’s Gangnam style and Gentleman. The ending of the world tour proved to be an extremely emotional experience for both the group and the Inspirits, with each band member saying a goodbye speech. “I feel so touched as you know it is our first time being here tonight. Today is the best day of my life. Your amazing support, beautiful smiles, hearing you sing along in Korean tonight made me so happy and I feel so touched. I hope we can have a special time like this again in the future. Sometimes we do make mistakes as we’re human too, but we do need your constant love, care and support as you’re very special to us. Thank you.” Said Woohyun holding back the tears.
